CPOOL is the utility and governance token for the Clearpool Protocol. The Initial Total Supply (ITS) of CPOOL is 1,000,000,000. CPOOL has a deflationary supply through a burning mechanism explained in more detail below.

Staking & Farming
CPOOL staking is the gateway to earning high yields as a lender on the Clearpool Protocol, and CPOOL staking is mandatory for borrowers (see Staking & Farming for more information).
Token Buybacks & Burning
Coming soon.
CPOOL reserves (see Reserves for more information) are used to buyback CPOOL on the open market. A governance approved percentage of tokens acquired by the protocol through this mechanism are transferred to the rewards account, whilst the remaining amount are transferred to the burn account.
Initially this amount will be set by the Clearpool Core Team but this can be modified via governance in the future.
