Revenue

Revenue is a governance approved percentage of pool interest diverted to the revenue pool on every block as protocol revenue. Initially this amount will be set by the Clearpool Core Team but this can be modified via governance in the future.

Unlike insurance, which is pool specific, revenue is transferred from every borrower pool to a single revenue pool.

The revenue pool can be used for protocol development and CPOOL buybacks (see CPOOL for more information).

The current approved parameter for revenue is: 5%

CPOOL Buybacks

A governance approved percentage of revenue is used to buyback CPOOL on the open market.

A governance approved percentage of CPOOL acquired through buybacks will be transferred to the rewards pool. The remaining CPOOL will be sent to the burn account (see CPOOL for more information.
