# For Borrowers Borrowing with Prime does not require the provision of collateral. A borrower creates a pool with specific terms within the core smart-contract. After the pool is created, the borrower can invite any other whitelisted institution to fund the pool. Loaned assets are transferred automatically and directly to the Borrower wallet address without Clearpool having custody at any point.\ \ Clearpool Prime is available only for whitelisted institutions.
